Long Pond Ironworks

Long Pond Ironworks State Park is tucked between Sterling Forest to the north, Tranquility Ridge to the east, Norvin Green State Forest to the south and Greenwood Lake to the west. It is pristine and wild with more forest than trails, plus the ruins of an ironworking industry with two furnaces and two waterwheels still found in the historic district. I will be exploring more of Long Pond Ironworks through the year, so while this photo gallery may be small now, it will grow over the next calendar year.
